Today I went to the Field Museum
Well, what comes up must come down. I had to go collect our car from Chicago, so a visit to the Field Museum was warranted. Man, I love that place.
I had no idea pancake turtles had hog-nosed trunks, and now they are my favorite type of turtle.
We did an exhibit where you “shrunk down” 1/100 of your actual size, and the animatronic game was pretty lit, NGL. Found out at the end of the exhibit that it was sponsored by Monsanto (insert eye roll and large pile of barf here).
The fog took six men that day (iykyk).
It’s sleeeeeeeping! This is a glass lizard, which, fun fact, is what they used in Indiana Jones (instead of snakes). Apparently if he gets spooked, his tail will crack into many pieces, and he will run away.
